Do I need a visa to travel to Nigeria?
All visitors to Nigeria with the exception of Nigerian passport holders require entry visas to Nigeria. Citizens of ECOWAS countries do not require visas, if they are not staying in Nigeria beyond 90 days.

I am a Nigerian by birth and naturalisation, but do not hold a Nigerian passport. Do I still need a visa to
Nigeria?
Yes, you do.

Do children require visa to Nigeria?
All children with the exception of those holding Nigerian and ECOWAS passports require visas.


I do not own a Credit Card, how can I pay for Passport or Visa online?

You can use the services of a Visa Agent or purchase a Prepaid Visa Card from the PRIMERA SHOP all over the Netherlands.

Does the Embassy issue or renew Nigerian Drivers License?
No.

Do I have to pay any penalty for a lost/damaged passport?
Yes.

Do I need to pay administrative fees for the following services?
A. Visa: Yes
B. Passport: Yes
C. Legalization of Documents: Only legalisation fees is paid
D. Endorsement of Documents: Only Endorsement fees is paid
E. Emergency Travel Certificate: Only ETC fees is paid.

Do I need to meet any conditions in order to collect my EPassport?

Yes, you are expected to surrender your old passport to the Embassy for cancellation before the issuance of the new one.

Do I need to make an appointment to submit my Visa Application?
No. You can submit normal visa applications on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 12.30 noon. Urgent Applications can be submitted from Monday through Friday from 10am to 12.30 noon.

Do I need to apply online for E-Passport and Nigerian Visa?
Yes, all Passport and Visa Applications must be done online via the Nigeria Immigration Website. For more information, see the different links for the online application under passport and visa.

How can I pay the administrative fees/charges?
All administrative fees/charges can be paid by pin at the Embassy. Please note that the Embassy does not accept cash payments.
