IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

LOCKDOWN IN THE NETHERLANDS

The Netherlands has announced a stringent lockdown due to the high increase in COVID-19 infections. Although the number of infections have been falling, however the government has decided to extend the lockdown until at least February 9, 2021, all non-essential shops must remain close and students must follow classes online from home. Due to this lockdown in combination with COVID-19, the embassy will be closed effective from Wednesday, 16th December 2020 until 9th February, 2021 pending the decision of the government.

This is to inform the general public that visitors are expected to schedule appointment for all categories of services being rendered by the embassy by using the appointment functionality.
