Passport & visa Application Information
Fresh Passport Application Requirement
First-time Nigerian passport applicants must fill out and pay for the e-Passport form at https://immigration.gov.ng/passports/. Citizens by birth must show an NPC birth certificate or a signed statement of age along with a Nigerian ID. Minors must also show their parents’ passports and permission. Citizens who are naturalised must show their Presidential Certificate of Naturalisation, while citizens who are registered must show their Certificate of Registration.
All classes of applicants should note that submission of request as strictly by appointment. And this has to be done using the link on their payment slip after which the appointment slip printed and attached together with the rest of their documents.
It is mandatory that applicant for passports must translate ALL documents attached to their application into English for approval and processing
