                                                           SOCIAL SECRETARY VACANCY

This is to inform the general public that vacancy exists for the position of Social Secretary at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Hague. A Social Secretary should possess a unique blend of skills and qualities that make him/her indispensable in managing official/ social engagements of a Head of Mission.

Qualifications/Requirement:

• Exceptional Communication: Applicant must be able to communicate effectively with staff, contemporaries and guests of the Mission;
• Organizational Skills: Applicant must be able to manage complex schedules, coordinate logistics and maintain detailed records;
• Attention to Detail: Applicant must be one who pays attention to
• detail and ensures that every aspect of the engagement of the Head of Mission is perfect;
• Interpretational Skills: Applicant must be able to discern, interact

with a wide range of individuals/visitors/guests and must navigate social situations with discretion and professionalism;

• Flexibility: Applicant must be flexible   and  be able  to adapt to changing schedules and requirements, making flexibility an essential quality; and
• Problem Solving: Applicant must be able to anticipate issues and develop solutions, ensuring that social etiquette is observed and protocol duly followed in the discharge of his/her duties.

In addition to the above, the

• Applicant must be a graduate of a university or its equivalent;
  • Applicant must be residing in the Netherlands legally;
  • Applications are welcome from both Dutch and foreign nationalities, provided the applicant possesses resident/work permit; and
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, even though proof of several years of experience, in similar capacity is an added advantage.

DRIVERS VACANCY

This is to inform the general public that vacancy exists for the position of Drivers at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Hague.

Qualification/Requirements:

• Applicant must be within the ages of 25 and 55;
• Applicant must possess valid driver’s licence;
• Applicant must be residing in the Netherlands legally;
• Applications are welcome from both Dutch and Foreign nationalities, provided the applicant possesses resident/work permit; and
• Proof of several years of driving in the Netherlands is an added advantage.
