The Embassy’s second edition of the Trade and Investment Forum was held at the prestigious Grand Hotel Amrath Kurhaus in Den Haag, the Kingdom of the Netherlands on 20th April 2023 with the theme THE LAND IS GREEN: EXPLORING BUSINESS AND INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN NIGERIA.
Prominent public sector participants from Nigeria included the Central Bank; the Federal Ministry Industry, Trade and Investment; the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission; the Nigeria Export Promotion Council; the Federal Inland Revenue Service; the Nigeria Customs Service; and the Corporate Affairs Commission. The Nigerian Export-Import Bank and the Bank of Industry actively supported and participated at the Forum.
The Nigerian delegation to the Forum was led by the former Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, H.E. Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, CON. Ambassador Peter Potman, the former Deputy Director General, Foreign Economic Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands represented the Dutch Government on the occasion.
